Is there anything that you might not have forgotten to do lately if you had received a text reminder about it?
I was talking to Jamie from @midwestgroundcovers for a story that will run in @growertalksgreenprofit later this year and she was remarking how we can all sign up for text alerts in our personal lives.
We can get alerts about dinner reservations or flight changes or product drops for our favorite hobbies.
The more that becomes available with businesses we interact with every day, the more we expect it from everyone.
The great thing about using SMS for business:
-it is totally based on opt in and consent. Customers have to sign up for the messages and they will only sign up if they want them.
-SMS is a service that you provide to your customers. It is a value added Service that uses very few resources to provide.
-SMS messages take about five or 10 minutes to create and schedule as opposed to hours for emails.
-SMS has super high conversion rates. But that’s a post for another day 😉
