From Katie:
I read this quote from Elizabeth Lawrence, “There is a garden in every childhood, an enchanted place, where colors are brighter, the air is softer, and the morning more fragrant than ever again.” during my remarks opening the garden party to benefit the King’s Garden at Fort Ticonderoga.
🌻It was my first job out of graduate school, and the party was during my first month on the job.
🌻20 years later, The King’s Garden has become that “enchanted place” in my mind.
🌻It makes me think. . . how will I look back on what I’m spending my time on now? Who I spend it with, working for, working with?
That done, what changes do I want to make?
