Day 19: Create a perpetual Marketing Calendar
Format a spreadsheet, with the months along the vertical access and categories such as events, what’s in bloom, deadlines, categories to promote on the horizontal axis.
Then fill it in!
If you know that you always have a seasonal clearance sale in August, then you’re not gonna have to remember it or think about it when it is time to work on August emails. You can just look at your perpetual calendar.
This is a useful training tool for when you have a new staff member
Print it out and stick it over your desk. You will refer to it more than you can imagine.
