Day 17: Take Tons Of Horizontal And Vertical Pictures
Here is my mantra: videos are popular, but photographs are necessary.
- Video is popular for social media but if you don’t take pictures while you shoot video as soon as you start working on your email marketing projects, you are going to wish you did.
- For a complete content package to promote something you need different types of images. Vertical images work great on Instagram but horizontal images are often easier to manage with email.
- You’ll also need tons of images for your website. You can’t outfit your entire website in video.
- Make sure that when you’re taking video you occasionally switch to Photograph mode. Sure you could grab a screen shot from a video, but that is usually much less effective than just taking a picture in the first place. Thay’s because when you take a photograph you can choose what to highlight in the photograph
