Lucy Mercer of A Cook and Her Books came to The Garden of Words needing a new online home for her Blogspot blog that was more personalizable and expandable.
The GOW Web Dev team set Lucy up with a WordPress site on a theme that was designed to show off her blogs as well as her delicious and creative recipes. Instead of transferring all of the content from her original Blogspot page, Lucy decided to retire the Blogspot page, move over a few of her favorite articles and add a note that the page is no longer being updated.
The transition was a smooth one and after a few weeks of a new website with solid SEO, A Cook and Her Book’s traffic is up higher than ever.
