Hey there fellow freelancer!
A quick note to say that I’m about three hours from shutting it down for an entire luxurious end-of-year week off and I’m pumped! I have six books I want to read. Prolly not gonna happen.
I’m with my family and getting ready to just spend some time with them.
I hope you get some time off, too.
This isn’t some big missive about goal setting or anything. It’s about rest. It’s about congratulations for making it through another year.
My business turned 10 this week. I know now say “I’ve been doing this for a decade.” An exhilarating, exhausting, decade. My only regret is not spending more time with my family at the beginning.
My wishes to you for a peaceful last week of the year and a great start to 2018. I’ll see you next year!
