How did I get here?
Either you found me while searching, saw my link in an article or someone told you I could help you, right?
That’s how a lot of people end up here.
It has been a long and winding road for me, too!
I opened up The Garden of Words in December 2007 as a freelance writer with a Master’s in Public Garden Management and an UpWork account.
Fast forward to 2022.
The Garden of Words is now tended by a team of horticultural marketing experts. Most of us have worked in garden centers, public gardens, wholesale nurseries, landscape design firms, and as landscape contractors. We’re also experts in web design for garden centers and web design for landscapers. They’re experts in email marketing for garden centers and for ecommerce businesses.
How did that happen? Necessity.
I discovered that my small business horticulture clients needed as much help with the tech side of business as they did with the writing and marketing side, so I learned tech and I gathered tech gurus and taught them horticulture.
Together, we’ve grown into a horticultural marketing business that helps other garden businesses grow.
No matter who you work with on the team, you can expect friendly, professional, prompt communication, horticultural knowledge backed by experience, and thoroughly up-to-date tech solutions.
Why don’t I introduce you to the team? They’re really just the best! ~Katie
