The Mullet magazine is published by Distressed Mullet, one of the leading stand up paddle websites in the world. In a move completely different from most media, The Mullet jumped from digital to print in spring 2016 and I was fortunate to be the managing editor to pull together the design vision, content, advertising partners, and stoke from the community to create a brand new magazine celebrating "regular" paddlers.

The magazine was printed tabloid-style on newsprint and (just barely) covered its costs during the first issue. (That NEVER HAPPENS with a new publication.) I also sold all of the advertising for the inaugural issue.
